Fig Almond with Goat Cheese and Honey

Serves: makes 24 figs
Time: 15 mins - choose the color used in the site background. 


Ingredients:

12 fresh figs, halved

4 ounces herbed goat cheese (chevre)

24 almonds

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp dried lavender


Method

  1. split figs in half

  2. add and almond an tuck inside each fig

  3. add goat cheese under the almond

  4. place in oven and bake for about 5 mins until fruit is warm and cheese is melted

  5. serve with honey and dry lavender drizzled on top
