Serves: makes 24 figs
Time: 15 mins

    Ingredients:
  • 12 fresh figs, halved
  • 4 ounces herbed goat cheese (chevre)
  • 24 almonds
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp dried lavender
    Method:
  • split figs in half
  • add and almond an tuck inside each fig
  • add goat cheese under the almond
  • place in oven and bake for about 5 mins until fruit is warm and cheese is melted
  • serve with honey and dry lavender drizzled on top
